Planting has begun in the garden beds! Gardeners are prepping their beds by hardening their plants (gradually exposing the plants to the outdoors), assembling cages and stakes to support their young plants. Peeking through the soil are lettuce, kale and beets. At this stage, plants may need to be separated or thinned out so the plants have room to grow.
